Dog Training Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings & Payments
•   Full payment is required to secure your spot in a training class, private session, or in-house training package.
•   Payment can be made via cash, EFTPOS, credit card, or direct debt.
•   Prices are subject to change. All fees are non-transferable.

2. Cancellations & Refunds
•   Group Classes: A minimum of 5 days' notice is required for cancellation to avoid a late cancellation fee of $50 (taken from the deposit)
•   1 on 1 Training:  A minimum of 5 days' notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling to avoid a late cancellation fee of $50.
•   In-house Training: Cancel your day care and in-house training booking the night before your session to avoid a late cancellation fee of $20.
•   Missed group classes cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
•   In the event that Dot Dot Dog must cancel or reschedule a session, an alternative session or refund will be offered.

3. Dog Health & Vaccinations
•   Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations (C5 minimum) and in good health to participate. Puppy must at least complete 2 vaccinations before attending private class or group class. However, dogs need to complete 3 vaccinations before attending in-house training during day care.
•   Proof of vaccination must be provided upon registration.
•   Dogs with contagious conditions (e.g., kennel cough, fleas) will not be permitted until cleared.

4. Owner Responsibility
•   Owners must disclose any history of aggression, reactivity, or behavioural concerns before training begins.
•   For group classes, all dogs must be on a leash unless instructed otherwise.
•   Bring along any item requested by the dog trainer before the training session.

5. Safety & Liability
•   While every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, participation is at your own risk.
•   Dot Dot Dog Pty Ltd is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation in training services.
•   Owners are financially responsible for any damage caused by their dog to property, people, or other animals.

6. Training Outcomes
•   Training success depends on consistency, environment, and handler commitment. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or timelines.
•   Homework and practice between sessions are crucial to success.

7. Photography & Media
•   We may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes.
•   If you do not wish for your dog to be included, please inform us in writing before training begins.

8. Code of Conduct
•   Abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour towards staff, other clients, or animals will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
•   We maintain a balanced training philosophy. Harsh punishment or aversive tools are not permitted.

9. Weather & Outdoor Sessions
•   For outdoor training, sessions may be rescheduled in the event of extreme weather (heat, storms, etc.) for the safety of all involved.

10. Disclaimer
•   Dot Dot Dog Pty Ltd and its trainers are not veterinarians or veterinary behaviourists. Any advice provided during training sessions is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care or diagnosis.
•   Participation in training does not guarantee behavioural changes, and results may vary based on individual circumstances and commitment.
•   By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have been advised to consult a qualified veterinarian for any health-related concerns.

11. Acknowledgment & Agreement
•   By enrolling in our dog training services, you confirm that: - You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, including the Disclaimer. - You agree to comply with all rules and requirements. - You accept the risks associated with dog training.
